Stop and Searches, Drug related

Local SNT officers from Hatch Lane and Hale End identified an individual who had previously been issued with a Penalty Notice for Disorder (PND) and had also been arrested in the past.

On the evening in question, officers in plain clothes were conducting a hotspot patrol in the area. During the patrol, officers observed an IC3 male behaving suspiciously and attempting to conceal himself behind a vehicle in the Tesco car park, a location known to be a hub for homeless individuals and associated with ongoing anti-social behaviour (ASB).

Officers conducted a stop and search and subsequently found the individual in possession of Class B drugs, which were seized. In addition, officers issued a Community Resolution to an IC1 individual, during which further Class B drugs were recovered and seized.

In total, four stop and searches were conducted, with one arrest and one community resolution.
